The capital city of Uttar Pradesh has always been on my bucket list and why not when the entire city awaits to mesmerize you in its surreal charming hospitality?
Welcome to Lucknow- the city of Nawabs, a town known for its food, dialect of conversation, people, and rustic yet evergreen heritage.
The biggest state of India, Uttar Pradesh is indeed a pandora box of cultures, natural beauties, narrow lanes filled with numerous anecdotes, great food, festivals and home-like hospitality. Probably it’s the only state which is known for its change of conversational tone every 5-10Km.
As I was born in this state, I proudly call myself UPites. My entire family after migrating to India post-independence set up their new home in this state and indeed no matter where you are from whenever you visit this dynamic state you are bound to be welcome with lots of surprises.
Now the question arises why exactly Lucknow? Other than being my favourite city and capital of Uttar Pradesh, it is also the city of various key factors from classical art to history, from the hub of every shopaholic to foodies’ heaven and lover of architecture as well as culture enthusiast.
