Ishq, Sukoon & Ruhaaniyat in बनारस!

Emotions are a horoscope of feelings where an individual describes, shares or feels something or someone and makes himself/herself a part of it. We humans are nothing without our emotions, isn’t it? We switch our emotions in the exact same way a chameleon changes its colour as it hops on to every new aspect of nature.

Showcasing and expressing our emotions is sometimes good and bad at the same time. The see-saw of life leads us to the maximum of our emotions in one we are up there and in the very next moment we are down but that’s what life is right where we keep sailing our ship no matter what.

As a travel enthusiast, I have always believed that my emotions get swayed away very rapidly and exclusively. For me the utmost important emotion that defines me and makes me feel alive is Sukoon. Definitely there are various other emotions as well, but I feel where there is Sukoon, there is happy me! One such place which is just like my emotion and often alternatively called Sukoon, the Varanasi, the Banaras, the Kashi and various other names has been bagged by this wholesome place.

The oldest and most heavenly city on the Earth, Varanasi doesn’t just have a different vibe but is a total mood. The lands where the day begins with the echoes and hymns of spirituality ends with the goosebumps, prayer chants of Lord Shiva and  the holy river of Ganga.

 Ishq in Banaras

Ishq, Love, Pyaar one feeling with multiple names. Everyone has been in Ishq even I am. If you say you haven’t, I won’t be able to trust you because I’m not only talking about the Ishq that you felt with the opposite gender. It could be with anyone and can happen anytime and anywhere. Currently, my Ishq for Banaras is at the next level, I won’t be able to express through words it’s just there and it’s soothing. If you have been to Banaras, you would be able to relate with me. Because there is nothing that could not make you fall in love with this heavenly place. From vibes, culture, local customs, heritage, stories and so much more. From dusk till dawn, you name magic, you find it here.  For me whenever I hear, read or see something which is related to Banaras, my heart starts dancing with serenity and my soul just starts daydreaming about it. As if probably, there couldn’t be anything else than this city that could make me feel like ISHQ.

Sukoon in Banaras

Sukoon is peaceful! Peace is happiness, we humans seek out Sukoon in life after undergoing chaos and unforeseen circumstances, we look out for that one human being, a place, an activity or a hobby which is the purest form of Sukoon. If I had to seek Sukoon for myself, it would definitely be at the ghats of Banaras. Where life keeps passing by in the most surreal yet simplest and magical way. Where from kids, young love and the elders visit to find their forms of Sukoon. Can’t deny that Banaras is one such place where every individual finds their peace in their very own unique way.  In dilemma? Then do plan your trip to Banaras and you will call out for your Sukoon yourself.

Roohaniyat in Banaras

Roohaniyat is nothing but the spirituality. The aura of God creates an environment where all you can feel is the goosebumps of witnessing the most beautiful moment of your life through your naked eyes and a heavy heart that loses all its pressure just by listening the hymns of blissful aarti, echoes of bell along with the of breeze fire lamps that gives you the warmth of Roohaniyat in most astounding way. It’s simple where there is Ishq and Sukoon there is bound to be Roohaniyat that completes your soul and makes your heart attend the enlightment.  Never thought that such unique expression could define the beauty of Banaras so gracefully.

Indeed, there are many other places in this universe where you can feel Ishq, Sukoon & Roohaniyat. But the way you would feel in Banaras couldn’t be experienced anywhere else.

Lastly, someone has said it I can’t remember where I heard it, but it goes like this:

“Tum Ishq kehna, me Banaras Samjhunga,

Tum Sukoon dhundoge, me Banaras me kho jaunga,

Tum Roohaniyat ka zikar karoge, me Banaras ka izhaar karunga”

Not finding a place for vacation? Then you must consider this blog as your biggest sign.

Till then Happy Sundaying!
