No travel is complete without food and no food is complete without an enchanting travel story! I wish I could have curated this phrase because it’s so true and consists of all the emotions that bind us, give us the motivation to travel and never ever kill our urge!

Indore being the capital city of Madhya Pradesh- The Heart of India is also known for its various tags like cleanest city, foodies paradise and so much else. I personally have always been fascinated with the city of Indore, there is something special and unique that pulls you towards it.

I have many readers, friends and admirers who come from this heartwarming city and have understood that people and their way of possessing hospitality make you feel special that your trip becomes worthy enough. If any of you have visited Indore before you might be able to totally relate with what I’m trying to explain.

On this first weekend of March, I was craving something spicy, tangy and different from usual so just had a breakfast of Poha with sev. Probably the best way to start a Sunday!

Poha and Indore city have a very old and strong connection so let me tell you about various other delicacies which are the true representatives when it comes to the cuisine of Indore.

Poha – A Morning Delight!

Whenever in Indore start your day with a plate of piping hot poha, a traditional breakfast staple made from flattened rice. As you take your first bite, you’ll be greeted by the burst of flavors from mustard seeds, curry leaves, and crunchy peanuts.
