Food of Jaipur

Good evening fellas, the new blog in the series of the Jaipur is here. I hope you all are doing well; Diwali is over and we are in the second last month of 2021. This year is also about to end but with a quite better note as compared to the previous year.

Today’s topic is all about the food of pink city. I have researched and tried to share some of the famous and well know delicacies of the city, and the names of the dishes are enough to bring get mouth filled with water. So lets get started.

Jaipur is the pink city known for its unique and magnificent forts along with traditional lifestyle. Being in Jaipur you will feel that you are in the city where everything is olden, charming and royal. It is believed that while travelling to this city you must be prepared to treat yourself with royal lifestyle and immerse yourself in Rajasthani culture.

Coming to the cuisine and food of Jaipur, you will get to see lots of varieties in its meal wether its lunch, dinner or light snack you will always find it tempting and that too in large quantity that it can fill your stomach without any haze.

Golgappa

If you aren’t Golgappa aka Pani Puri aka Puchka fan then you are missing something important from your life. One of the important part of the Indian snack meal Golgappa is the most loved and tempting food you can ever have. Being in Jaipur having Golgappa should not miss your bucket list. Try having different flavoured Golgappa on the streets of Jaipur.

Pyaaz Kachori 

One of the most loved and favoured food of pink city is this Pyaaz Kachori. You will get various stuffing along with onion in this kachori. After having one you won’t be able to resist yourself from having more. Do not forget to try this king of street food while exploring Jaipur.

Rabri Ghevar

Rabri Ghevar is among the favourite dessert specialities of Jaipur. Ghevar is generally made during rain season and is eaten at time of Rakshabandhan. It is believed that eating this dish on RakshaBandan increases love between brother and sister. You will be able to find this dish on various sweet shops of the city.

Lassiwala

Lassi is the famous street food of Jaipur and having Lassi at lassiwala is nothing better than you can ever have. Lassi in Kulhad is the best combination you can ever see on the streets of the city. After your meal head to Lassiwala to fill your stomach with this sweet drink.

Anokhi Café

This is a cosmopolitian foo joint in the city. Treat yourself with good Italian dishes and enjoy the ambience of this café. Do try cheescake here which can turn into a delight for your sweet tooth.

Falhaar

A sweet dish which is mostly eaten with meal known as Srikhand can be found best in this food joint. If you want to try different flavours of Srikhand head to this place and enjoy your meal with your friends and family.
